Hotel Arena Palace

Good basic (really basic) accommodations. There's no category for value, but 5 stars for the price. Very much an old style residential hotel, but clean and in the heart of the Village.

Very close to everything (berri uqam) if you are going for an affordable option, this is your place! Very cozy place!

If it weren't for this place I would've been stuck on the streets because my Air Bnb cancelled my reservation the second I got off the plane. The management was really kind and helpful. He also was great helping negotiate a fare price for my situation. Thank you so much!!!!!

For 350 total for a week it's probably the cheapest hotel room in canada. Of course if luxury is important to you move along but if you need a bed and great location on a limited travel budget. It's your best option. I'll be back

The best deal in Montreal, perfect for solo or couples looking to explore Montreal. Travelling through the city is a breeze as it’s only 15 minutes walk to the port, 10 to the restaurant district, and the subway is so close I can see it from my window. So if you are staying in Montreal, stay here and spend more time enjoying the city.

It was not the best, but it was great for one night. The room was very quiet and decent. They will not accommodate you for early arrivals so after driving all night, they weren't helpful with that, the lady in the front is rude as heck so just avoid needing anything. No towels, bring your own, as well as soap or anything else. Very convenient with the Metro across the street in the heart of downtown Montreal and lots going on around it. Old Montréal is very close, you can walk or grab the metro.

I feel like I lucked out booking this place from 5000 km away. It's close to the subway, has a bar underneath it, and a 24 hr store nearby. Look, if you have high standards and are very self important, this probably isn't your kind of place. It has beds and felt fairly secure. It's not a luxury suite, but it's a place to rest your bones while exploring Montreal. There's a sink in your room, and toilets and showers down the hall. The staff all seemed really cool and accommodating. When I travel to Montreal again, I will definitely try to book here.

Conveniently located in the gay Village. A charming and well maintained family-run establishment. Very much like Pensions found throughout Europe. Expect very competitive rates for a good clean no frills room, with communal bathroom and shower facilities on each floor. As for amenities there aren't many. Although you may find there is a television in your room, there's no connection to cable or satellite. However, there is free Wi-Fi, as well as a computer located in the "business center" alcove next to the front desk.
